Looking at full-year data for the best-selling SUV in 2024, the leader was still the Tesla Model Y, leading with 1,09 million sales (-1.2%).
The second best-selling SUV was the Toyota RAV4, with 1,02 million sales (+10.7%).
In third place, the Honda CR-V with 738,315 sales (+4.2%). This model was segment leader in the period 2010-2015.
In fourth place ranked the Hyundai Tucson with 609,122 sales (-2.8%), followed by the BYD SONG -up 2 spots- with 574,351 sales (+45.3%)
In sixth place ranked the Volkswagen Tiguan with 543,037 units sold (+10.5%), ahead of Kia Sportage -down 2 spots- with 537,947 sales (+5.3%), the Honda HR-V with 382,839 (+8.8%) and the Mercedes GLC with 358,320 (+26.6%).
In 10th place the Mazda CX-5 -down 1 spot- with 338,187 sales (-3.6%).
